Overview

When Rolex introduced the 126710BLNR (the Batgirl) in 2019, the visible change from the 116710BLNR was the Jubilee bracelet. The actual change was the watch's position. The blue and black BLNR configuration was already established in the market — it was the bracelet that shifted the reference from tool watch to something that wears across contexts without announcing a choice.

The case is 40mm Oystersteel with the standard GMT-Master II asymmetric case geometry. The Cerachrom bezel is black and blue — BLNR, Bleu over Noir — black covering the night hours, blue the day. The black dial carries white luminous Mercedes hands and applied hour markers with a blue 24-hour GMT hand for the second time zone. Against the Pepsi's (126710BLRO) red-blue split, the BLNR reads considerably more restrained — it's the correct choice for buyers who want the GMT function without the colour statement.

Within the steel GMT lineup, the 126710BLNR holds its secondary premium on demand consistency — it has traded at or above retail since 2019 and shows no sign of softening. Against the 126710BLRO, secondary pricing is broadly comparable, with the Pepsi carrying a small additional premium on its more pronounced colour identity; against the 126710GRNR (Bruce Wayne, introduced 2024), the BLNR has its own place — even though the grey-black is a newer color.
