Rolex Explorer 1 36mm 124273
Overview
The Explorer 1 was introduced in 1950s whereby there was a need for a simple three hand sports watch - which coincided with the expedition with a famous expedition to Mount Everest in 1953.
The Explorer 1 was built to be robust, simple and timeless - whereby it would not look out of place in any environment. It could be worn while on adventure, on a beach or even in a boardroom.
The reference 124273 is the new Explorer 1 36mm. Introduced since 2021. The latest model case dimensions reverted to the 36mm which was the original size. The new references come with a new Calibre 3230 with uprated 70 hours power reserve.
This is the first time the Explorer 1 is produed in Steel and Rolesor material. There were no previous iterations of this model.
