Rolex Datejust 36mm Jubilee Motif Diamond Dial on Jubilee 16233 1998 [NOS]
Overview
The Rolex Datejust was first released in 1945 - and a very important part of the Rolex collection.
In 1985, in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the release of the Datejust series, Rolex introduced the Jubilee dial. The year also coincides with Rolex's 80th anniversary. This particular dial was known as the Jubilee dial (or anniversary dial) and the "computer dial" over here in Asia. This particular dial was one of the first laser-etched dials with the "Rolex Rolex" motif on the dial. It was a very popular dial - and continued production for quite a few years. The Jubilee motif was only discontinued in 2021 - when the new Datejust range was released. This dial no longer is available in production.
This model reference is discontinued and no longer produced.
The Datejust 36mm Steel Rolesor 16233 is now replaced with 126233 which is the latest reference.
