Audemars Piguet Royal Oak was introduced in 1972 - it was an iconic design by Gerald Genta - with its octagon shape case design, "tapisserie" pattern dial (which we learn to love) and integrated bracelet.
The Royal Oak 15300ST was introduced in 2000s - and is one of AP's most popular models to date. It features a 39mm case - which is similar to that of the original jumbo or the very popular 15202ST modern Jumbo.
This particular reference was discontinued in 2012 and no longer in production.
