Overview 

A Lange & Söhne Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase was introduced as part of A Lange & Sohne's "Lange 1" collection. This model represents the entry to Lange's Complication collection.

The Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase - represents a larger case (41mm) as opposed to the original Lange 1 size of 38.5mm. This allows the a redesign of the dial layout - while preserving the unmistakable asymmetrical design of the Lange 1 family. The balance of the dial on the 41mm is executed very well here. 

The Grand Lange 1 allows the moon phase display to be situated nicely within the large time display at 10 o clock. This execution is done perfectly - with the solid dial complementing the dark blue moon phase disc - with 382 individual stars adorning this rotating disc. The 41mm rose gold case, goes very well with the silver dial and rose gold accents on the dial. Perfectly accentuates a classy and elegant design. 

The Lange Calibre L095.3 is visible with the sapphire caseback - and one can admire and appreciate the design and finishing of the top German watchmaker. 

This particular reference is currently still in regular production.
