Overview 

The 126610LN is the current-generation black-on-black Submariner Date — the reference that defines the archetype. First introduced as the 116610LN in 2010, the current generation updated the case to 41mm and replaced the Calibre 3135 with the 3235 in 2020, bringing a 70-hour power reserve and eliminating the older calibre's date quick-set awkwardness.

The case is 41mm Oystersteel with a black unidirectional Cerachrom bezel. The dial is black with Chromalight applied indices and a Cyclops date magnifier at 3 o'clock. The bracelet is the Oyster with Glidelock extension — a practical sizing feature for divers adjusting over a wetsuit, and a useful micro-adjuster for everyone else. Water resistance is 300 metres.

Calibre 3235, 70-hour power reserve. The most significant improvement over the 3135 it replaced: a 15% more efficient Chronergy escapement and the extended power reserve. A Submariner coming off the wrist after 60 hours still has 10 hours of reserve remaining.

The 126610LN is the baseline Submariner and one of the most consistently traded pieces in the global secondary market. Its pricing holds because demand never fully clears at any given supply level.
