The Rolex Datejust 31mm reference 278274 with white mother of pearl dial has one detail that distinguishes it from every other Datejust configuration: no two dials are identical. Mother of pearl is a natural material — its iridescence, patterning, and tonal variation are unique to each piece. The watch you receive is not a production replicate.
The 31mm Oystersteel case carries an 18k white gold fluted bezel. The mother of pearl surface shifts between white, cream, and silver depending on the light source and angle. Ten brilliant-cut diamond hour markers are set into this surface. Cyclops at 3 o'clock. The white gold bezel and mother of pearl dial are a cooler, more formal pairing than the yellow Rolesor variants.
The movement is the Calibre 2236 automatic: Syloxi silicon hairspring, 55-hour power reserve, Superlative Chronometer certification. Steel Jubilee bracelet.
