The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is one of the most popular line of professional watches to celebrate Rolex's love with automotive racing. The Rolex Daytona is considered a classic and is easily one of the most recognised models by Rolex.
The Rolex Daytona was introduced in 1955 and many references have been introduced since, with a new improved reference introduced every numbers of years.
The reference 126500LN was introduced since 2023. This model supercedes the previous 116500LN reference.
The key updates on the reference 126500LN - is a reduced thickness to 13.3mm (from 14.5mm). The case and oyster bracelet went through a complete redesign to match each other seamlessly. The overall watch feels more ergonomic on the wrist. The cerachrom bezel now has a steel ring flanking the insert - which is closer to the vintage Rolex design. The dial has been redesigned - with smaller indexes and modified proportions on overall. The movement has been updated to calibre 4131 - improving the power reserve and durability of the watch.
The 126500LN is the current reference of the Cosmograph Daytona and currently is in production.
