Overview 

MING watch is an independent watch brand based here in Kuala Lumpur which has made great strides in the watchmaking industry. Founded in 2017, the young brand has garnered a huge following of fellow enthusiasts - allowing the brand to release watches which are sold out in minutes, if not seconds. 

Each MING watch is designed here in KL, but manufactured in Switzerland and regarded as Swiss Made. Each watch is well made, with much thought put to not only the design but also its practicality. The watches are usually under 40mm in size, and very wearable even for smaller or larger wrist sizes. 

The 19.02 builds on the success of the GPHG-finalist 19.01 by adding two important features: a world time complication, and wear-readiness thanks to a microrotor automatic movement. The 19.02 retains the signature gradient sapphire dial, now in black, with a masked section for a titanium 24 hour disk under the dial that displays time across the marked timezones. The 19.02 is also probably one of the few world time watches with Kuala Lumpur on the dial, reflecting the home base of Ming watches.

This particular custom edition is a unique piece. Only 1 was made. The unique feature is on the 24 hour disk. The original features hour markers on every hour for 24 hours in numerals. This particular "custom" - features numeral hour markers on every even number of hours only. This creates a cleaner hour disk as preferred by the original client.

The 19.02  was sold out upon release and no longer in production.
