Blancpain released the Fifty Fathoms Ocean Commitment III Limited Edition 40mm in 2018 as part of its effort for Ocean Commitment program. The program solidifies the Blancpain brand with its bond with scuba diving and its love for the ocean - via ocean perservation.
The typical Fifty Fathoms is usually 45mm in size and has always been a large watch. But the new one released here - is only 40.30mm. Part of Blancpain's new plan which is great considering 45mm still being too large for most wrists.
The watch comes with a Penguin diving style case - and an assortment of Blancpain Fifty Fathom's book and a collection of underwater photographs.
