Overview 

The Zenith El Primero is one of the most popular chronographs ever made. The El Primero was introduced in 1969 and since then many iterations of watches and dials were made. Its popularity lies in its origin - as it was a superior chronograph of its time which lead it to be used by many different models; and even the Rolex Daytona.

This particular reference - The El Primero 36000VPH in 42mm was released in 2017. It was unique as it was introduced with a 42mm case in aluminum - but in Black. As you may already know - aluminium is very light weight, but easy to get scratches. So, what Zenith did - was coat the case in ceramic. This way - it allows the case to be lightweight and yet, more scratch resistant.

This particular reference - features the very popular Panda dial design - a white dial with black subdials. Coupled with a black rubber strap, and a black case - this combination oozes sportiness and versatility - a watch you can wear anywhere.
