The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is one of the most popular line of professional watches to celebrate Rolex's love with automotive racing. The Rolex Daytona is considered a classic and is easily one of the most recognised models by Rolex. 

The Rolex Daytona was introduced in 1955 and many references have been introduced since, with a new improved reference introduced every numbers of years.

The reference 116520 is the previous reference for Daytona Steel - introduced in the year 2000 and later discontinued in 2016.

This particular 116520 reference is a later model with the engraved rehaut or chapter ring - with its serial number engraved on. The engraved rehaut was introduced only in the later part of 2007 and still used till today.
