Panerai Radiomir is part of Panerai's historic collection. This particular reference was introduced in 2023 - to feature the new Brunito eSteel collection of Radiomirs.
The Radiomir California draws inspiration from Panerai's iconic Radiomir models, which were originally developed for the Italian Navy in the 1930s. It features a distinctive cushion-shaped stainless steel case, measuring 45mm in diameter. The case design exudes elegance and a vintage charm, capturing the essence of Panerai's early models.
One of the standout features of the Radiomir California PAM01349 is its dial. It showcases a grained-like dark green dial, with a unique dial layout - mix of arabic and roman numerals (an original Rolex design but later popularised by Panerai).. The dial features a minimalist design with strong luminescent, offering excellent legibility in any lighting condition. The vintage-inspired hour and minute hands add to the watch's overall aesthetic appeal.
The new case features the burnished finishing (Brunito) introduced by Panerai - which is a multi-step finishing which includes mirror-finishing, sand blasting and tumble polishing - to create a product with a vintage look and feel.
The final outcome of the watch looks great - like something from a few decades ago. This particular reference is newly introduced and a boutique exclusive only. A total of 600 pieces were made.
