Overview 

IWC Big Pilot is one of the most iconic Pilot watches ever made. Re-introduced back in 2002, it was clear that it would be an instant favorite amongst Pilot enthusiast. 

The Big Pilot has a long history which can be traced back to decades ago back during the period of war. There were many iterations of the Big Pilot over the years - but the main design theme remained the same. The watch was designed as a Pilot's watch (highly legible) and has a large wrist presence.

The IW501002 was released in 2013 - the example we have here is the Le Petit Prince which comes with a sunburst blue dial coupled with a dark brown strap. The size of watch remains at 46mm and truly a statement piece if you are looking for a large Pilot's watch.
