Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chrono Carbon 44mm 2012 [Preowned]

Overview 

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore models are part of AP's more sportier and masculine version of the Royal Oak. Introduced in 1993 it was a hit amongst collectors, projecting a more modern version of a classic design.

The Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph 44mm was introduced in 2011. Spotting a new 44mm case, with newly designed push buttons and a transparent caseback to display the new AP 3126 calibre. This reference quickly became a favorite amongst the AP 44mm models.

The 26400AU reference is a forged carbon version of the Offshore. This reference was only made for a short time. Introduced in SIHH 2011, this model was later on discontinued from the production lineup in 2016. The new Ceramic models now replaces the Carbon references.

Only the 26400AU 44mm reference and the Bumblebee 42mm remain the regular production models in forged carbon. The other references made in forged carbon are produced as limited editions.  However, all these references are now discontinued.

According to AP, no two forged carbon cases are the same.
