Overview 

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak was introduced in 1972 - it was an iconic design by Gerald Genta - with its octagon shape case design, "tapisserie" pattern dial (which we learn to love) and integrated bracelet.

Introduced in 2019, this reference of the Royal Oak Automatic is the latest itineration. Although the size remains at 41mm, the overall design and construction of the watch feels more modern and larger than prior iterations. Besides an updated design on the dial, the other most noticeable update would be the automatic rotor - which features a more skeletonise design.

This reference of the Royal Oak Automatic is the most current and still in production.
